CGG: Canada Gay Guards (Call em Canada Girl Guides if you spot a SHARP sympathiser)
Joey: FNG or someone who needs lots of help all the time.

Grunt is an American slang. Pigeon I've never heard of but I suppose it could be possible as I don't know a lot of Air Force slang.

   

I guess I'm dating myself then, because my Dad (who was air force) called all army guys grunts (50s-70s). They returned the favour by calling him a pigeon, which he said harks back to the light blue unis they used to have before unification (looked kinda like pigeon shit).
