Persian Gulf (Arabian Gulf); November 23, 2006 -- Fishermen haul their nets from the hold of a dhow under the watchful eye of Petty Officer 2nd Class Rob Pacchiano, a member of a boarding party from HMCS Ottawa, during maritime interdiction operations conducted under Operation ALTAIR. HMCS Ottawa left CFB Esquimalt, B.C., in early September with her crew of 230 all ranks and her CH-124 Sea King helicopter for a six-month tour with the U.S.-led coalition fleet deployed in the Gulf region under Operation ENDURING FREEDOM.

Excellent pic :-) Was it from the Combat Camera site? Both that site and HMCS Ottawa's site have (too) many pictures of the boarding team. You'd think that was all we are doing out here :-)

That net was huge, it took the crew over three hours to haul it out of the hold.
