Well that's it

I'm leaving on the first of Feb. 2006 from winnipeg and landing on the 2nd of Feb. 2006 in Kandahar at the international airport. From the 29th of August till I leave its good old work up training. I tell ya this is going to buy me a house and pay for some of my school. I tell ya the reserves is the best job in the world for the starving student. I'ld recommend it to anyone. Just thought that I'ld let you guys know cause I haven't been around all that much lately.

Cheers.

Dustin

that was true. Back when I was a starving non-student it was still a good gig. Bush and his coalition of idiots have changed that. Good luck dude. You'll need it.

I know that I havn't been around for a while but I've been a little busy. I just got back from good old cfb wainwright. The entire taskforce was assembled and we got to get aquanted with one another. You should be hearing in the news soon this task force is being named Task Force Orion. The reason being that "Orion" the greek god was a hunter. We have been given the mission of hunting, capturing and/or destroying all Taliban and Al Queda forces in the Canadian Area of Respocibilty.

As it stands the PRT in Kandahar at this moment has been lucky. I pray everyday that we won't have a casualty, but the threat still remains. It will get even bigger as this task force of 1500 soldiers roles into Kandahar. The thing that we have going fo us is the profesionalism of the soldiers that I am going over with. 1VP is a good organisation and up to this point I think that if every one of us keeps our wits abot us we should be able to have a good tour.

Have a good day all

Gunbunny
