CHINESE CYBER HACKERS’ TARGETING OF U.S. AEROSPACE AND MILITARYINTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Over a six-year period, Su Bin, a Chinese citizen living in Canada, conspired with two people in China to gain unautho-rized access to protected computer networks in the United States. Together they targeted information about the United States’ fighter jets and military cargo aircraft program, and they sought to illegally export that in formation to China. As part of their conspiracy, Su would email the others guid-ance about which individuals, technologies, and corpora-tions—including a world-renowned U.S. aerospace compa-ny—to target during their computer intrusions.
One of Su’s co-conspirators would gain access to information residing on U.S. companies’ computers, using techniques to avoid detection, and then email Su the directory file listings and folders displaying the accessible data. Su would direct his co-conspirator to steal particular files and folders—specifically tar-geting flight test data, outlines of aircrafts’ pipeline and electrical wiring systems, and detailed drawing measurements of their wings, fuselage, and other parts.
Su would translate the stolen data from English into Chinese, and he and his co-conspirators wrote reports detailing the information and technology they had acquired, including its value to the stolen data’s final beneficiaries. Su’s plea agree-ment made clear the information he and his co-conspirators intentionally stole included data listed on the International Traffic in Arms Regulations’ U.S. Munitions List, which cannot be exported without a license. He admitted he hoped to sell the data he and his co-conspirators illegally acquired for a profit.
Weird stuff in the formatting. Nothing classified here.
But note that these criminals were tied to Canada. Makes me wonder if they were also attacking the MoD??
James Cameron seems to have a bit of nostalgia for these old wrecks. He sure spends a lot of money diving on them.
That’s not James Cameron. That was found by an outfit funded by the late Paul Allen. They’ve found a fair amount of wrecks in the last few years. The USS Indianapolis, Lexington and IJN Musashi are some of the more notable finds.

Now I recall that. Don't know why I though it was James Cameron though.
Hundreds of Jews buried in Nazi-era mass grave found by Belarus builders laying foundations
Soldiers in Belarus have unearthed the bones of hundreds of people shot during the Second World War from a mass grave discovered at the site of a ghetto where Jews lived under the Nazis.
The grave was uncovered by chance last month on a construction site in a residential area in the centre of Brest, near the Polish border. The remains were discovered when builders began to lay the foundations for an apartment block.
Soldiers wearing white masks on Tuesday sifted through the site with spades, trowels and their gloved hands to collect the bones. They also found items such as leather shoes that had not rotted.
Dmitry Kaminsky, a soldier leading the unit, said they had exhumed 730 bodies so far, but could not be sure how many more would be found.
