Tracker aircraft from the bonnie
The rumour is-> this is Tracker on the Bonnie that was lauched and flew thru a wave.

No it's not. The number 14 signifies that it is the USS Ticonderoga. It does look like an Essex class carrier and the tracker looks American as well.
That was really hard to watch. My grandfather was a Tracker pilot and died when trying to take off (under orders) off the HMCS Bonaventure in the midst of a hurricane.

your grandfather might have known my dad ...he was on the Bonnie in the sixties.

your grandfather might have known my dad ...he was on the Bonnie in the sixties.
Well my grandfather was Lt Cmmdr Roger Harris. But he died on 13 December (I think) 1959...
