I don't think it will happen. Typically it's the Democrats that instate the draft.

   

Not likely. The legislation is often floated for political reasons. So that the draft seems imminent.

   

Won't happen. Reinstituting the draft would be an admission that Iraq has turned into a quagmire for the Bush gov't.

Didn't Bush deny that there was going to be a draft over and over again before the elections ( I seem to recall that from the debates with Kerry).....I think he would fight it so as not to look like a (bigger) idiot.
