Old news maybe... but how many actually liked that dude who won Canadian Idol?

I don't think he can sing, quite frankly. Jenny Gear!!! Gere?? However the heck it was spelt. That girl kicked MAJOR ass!! Man, she should have won.

I'm still miffed about that. How could she have been voted out?

canadian idol is about promoting a crappy kind of music. nothing good can come out of promoting evil pop music crap.

You know... this may be a new concept for you, but, you can simply say; I don't like that type of music, without being insulting.

Just because you don't like pop music, doesn't make it crap. hate to say this luvie, but your opinion doesn't change whether something is genuinely good or not. Have a little respect for other people, like me, who enjoy pop music and think it's good, fun, music.

I don't think our Canadian Idol is all that hot. Although folks in Arabic nations obviously think otherwise. According to the World Idol competition that is.

I don't personally listen to Rammstein for instance but it doesn't make it bad, just not my taste. I'm not about to bash anyone who does like it nor will I bash the music itself. But then again that is just me. :roll:

actually, now that i come to think of it, pop isn't really music in the first place.

by the way, my opinion about a type of music does not make it crappy but take the opinion of a whole bunch of people and we'll see.

oh, and listen. it's not worth getting offended that easily over. just let it go buddy. it's not a big deal. only if you make it one.

as fot it being good music, how can pre-fabricated music be good? plus, look at the dirty people who are the true IDOLS! eg britney and christina....not to mention the fruity ones. dn't get me started on them...

I have to agree with idelible here. How can we say these people are idols - they are merely people who have a decent voice and can sing songs that other people have written - they won't have a career that stretches much more than a couple of years.......

To me the true artists are bands that write their own stuff and have shown their longevity like Rush, Aerosmith, AC/DC, or even people like Madonna or RUN DMC if you like that particular form of music.

These pop stars will fade as quickly as the Spice Girls, or New Kids........thankfully.

Rammstein too! They've been around for awhile, and they have had alot of success (At least, in Europe)

*sigh* boys will be boys. I don't care if it's original. I really don't. As long as it's something I can nod my head too, or something that makes me smile, then I'm happy. I'm not picky, or concerned with all the rest of that.

Nothing in this life is original anyway. Everything that is being done, has been done in some form or other, so why get hung up on it?
