I need people who live in the following cities to help me out a little... I am looking for different clubs/venues in these cities that a small band can look into for shows coming up. Also, if you can tell me any small local bands from these cities that may like to play a gig, that would be greatly appreciated... thanks!

All in Halifax. That'll probably be your best bet for the most bang for your buck, because the nightlife is great.

You might also want to check out the local universities. They all have their own pubs. Try Dalhousie, Saint Mary's, St. FX (Antigonish - HUGE music program), and Mount Saint Vincent (70% female!!)

Also the local rock station (Q-104) does a great job of promoting young talent that's playing around town - they have a show on Sunday evenings called Route 104 that's designed for promoting new talent. Give them a buzz.
