hi there everyone,i noticed there isn't much mention of default on this section, why not? those guys are the greatest band to hit any shore in a long time,i heard wasting my time and that was it i was hooked!! if you havnt bought the album, then go get it you wont be disappointed! my only disappointment is that i live in the crummy u.k and i rarely get to see canada's great bands live,i saw sum 41 and they were brilliant but havn't had the chance to see default and nickleback which i so want to see.
anyone been to see default live ,drop a reply to tell me how good they were

Why isn't there a none of the above. I don't really like either of them, well actually i hate nickelback, but default is a lot better on the ears then nickelback anyday. Yeah they could make that a torture method, listening to nickelback."Oh i can't take it any more, it's like god killing everyone in the world and their screams are all that is resonating."

Both are overplayed on the radio. But I prefer Nickelback.

Nickelback is much better to listen too

Both of those bands suck out loud. Default's songs all sound exactly alike and so does Nickleback. Everytime one of them releases a new song the radio overplays it to the point of monotony. There are hardly any really good new bands in the hard rock mode anymore. :(
PS: While I have not seen either band live, I have heard that N-back are quite wooden onstage but have a killer light and pyro show.

It's really bad in Vancouver where both bands are from. Throw in Theory of a Deadman and you will never listen to the radio ever again.

SwampoO @ Sat Nov 12, 2005 6:33 pm

god those bands suck... why not go find some good music, like The Arcade Fire, or Tom Waits. Nickelback and Default are shameful shitty bands that both became famous at the exact same time for all the wrong reasons.
