Hate to rain in your parade Lily and you can get mad at me if you want, but in 6 or so years, your daughter may or may not start looking like brittany spears depending on what her tastes and lifestyle is.. when girls or even guys look at whats in fashion now, they tend to dress like the celebrites, even girls with low riding jeans, belly shirts and the like.(not the guys though, I hope)

Since Britney it's happened to most female pop singers, that's what i call the Britney wave. Take a look at Hilary Duff in the Disney series and go check her videos, they get more and more Britney like.
Same for Lindsay Lohan, her Disney movies and series and now she's on her way to become a bitch.

Sorry to say but this Britney ``fad`` should have ended a while ago. She has been known to lip sync (something to be proud of ). She has no singing talent whatsoever.

Britney is a pretty sad case.

Say what you want about her music (i think its pretty bad), say what you want about her image (exploitive in my view), say what you want about her intelligence ( unknown), but in the end its the usual story of a young woman who seems to have a great deal of wealth and power but in the final reflection seems to have neither the maturity or the judgment to handle the costs of being a public persona.

Im not going to call her trialer trash for the simple reason that i know of a many people who's intelligence has not prevented them from having happy and productive lives. I think in the arc of her life she has had people helping her make critical decisions when its comes to her proffesional life as a singer, but when it comes to personal decisions she is like many people in that she chooses to have people in her life that are not good for her.

She's young and i think in her life hasnt had many poeple in her life that haven't had ulterior motives when it comes to what she can do for them, as opposed to simple friends who can help her see where the best path for her lays. Her being as wealthy as she is probably has limited her exposure to the kind of people who could help her and not use that reltionship to further thier own personal causes. and now she seems to be caught in the loop of having a man in her life who's seems to be typical of of the bad relationships many of us have probably been through.

She although she certaibly has wealth, and a certain amount of popular influence it doesnt seem to have ade her any happier. And i for one dont like to see people who are miserable because they've probably learned that there aren't good people out there who care about the person, rather then what she can do for them
