Favorite Band (New)

the thing is, she can't sing! i have listened to the songs that have videos on the "launch" page on yahoo.com, and she sings off key in all the songs. the distillers has got to be the raunchiest punk rock i have ever heard. that is also why i like to listen to their music ....i know it sounds wierd but i like that they sound so awful. i guess it's b/c that is a departure from the cliche pop crap and the "nice" sounding stuff. the same goes for metal imo.
anyway, what i really like about her voice is the rasp.

........I think Floyd is not considered a new band in ANYONE'S books!! They are, however, one of the greatest of all time. Pink Floyd and Black Sabbath are my favorite all time bands.

Pink floyd are good. But Zeppelin takes the cake for greatest rock band.

I think alot of new music sucks. Record companies dont want to take a chance with a different band. Sgt Peppers would not be released today because it sounds, as it did way back then, completley different. They want Britney Spears clones that guarantee that teenage girls will buy their music. Everything sounds like what New Kids on the Block sounded like back then. Same sound, different people. There also seems to be a trend of people ripping off old classic songs and "busting a rhyme" over the music. To me thats just talentless people cashing in on other peoples talent. Please may Puff Daddy or whatever his name is never put out another album.
I like The Pixies, The Chili Peppers, the Rheostatics, Blue Rodeo, the Beatles, Radiohead, James Brown, Gene Krupa, Sloan, that kind of stuff. Has anyone heard of the Inbreds. They were a great band from Kinston. Just a bass player and a drummer. Great stuff.

Yep i agree that Zeppelin is the greatest rock band so far or maybe even ever but i would say a close runner up would of been Guns N Roses if they would of only stay together

If I was gonna be stuck on an island with only 1 band I could listen to it would be Led Zeppelin. They had a bit of everything, Heavy rock,country, folk, blues,guitar and drum solos! what more could ya want?

In my opinion CCR is the best rock band, Led Zepplin is close behind them thought 
Considering I would have to listen just one cd for the rest of my life ... I guess I would take with me some Shania Twain albulm. ( not for the music

I just found a band I've never previously heard of on iTunes called Capri that I think are fantastic! 
Anybody know anything about them? Their track Barbarella is amazing
