I was shredin' my electric six string a few weeks ago and jotted down these lyrics, what do you think?

My new world order
it's a new regime.
A little blood on my hands
but they'll come clean.
I'm at the wheel
of a trillion dollar machine.
I'm warning you ... DON'T missunderestimate ME!

Chorus

Gonna drain your land - Gonna own your sky
If you resist - You're gonna die
I rule the masses - I own the sea
I'm warning you sir - DON'T missunderestimate ME!

All in the name of democracy
Don't you dare missunderestimate me.

Not too worried about somebody stealing them, doubt I'll ever really polish it off. Matter of fact, if somebody does something with it, let me know! Love to hear it!

I had it rockin' pretty good... 8)

Anybody else on here have original material they don't mind sharing??

i write a lot of guitar and bass riffs but i'm not so good at writing words. right now, a group of friends and i are writing a song to a riff i wrote. unfortunately i don't have anything readily available to record it and post it (not that i would anyway....too risky)

You start a band and call it the Hip Valley Jack Rafters, Robair. I've been trying to get somebody to start a band called that since I took a carpentry course a few years ago. I'd do it myself, but I have no musical ability whatsoever.

Thats good. I don't have any musical talent what-so-ever and I wouldn't be able to write lyrics very well. I envy the people who have natural musical talent. One of my friends gets bored when he is able to play an instrument without challenge anymore. Thus far he can play drums (and holy funk is he good!), guitar, base, saxophone, tuba, and I think its a cello. He's only been playing instruments since grade 7, we are going into grade 12 now. He picks it up so naturally.

That's Minty  I've been into music (singing) since I was very, very young. It just came so natural to me. I'm not the greatest writer, but a few of my 100's of songs are good...I just need a partner. My boyfriend is into music, but he speaks French and it's hard for him to write a song in English, but he does help me. He wrote me a list of titles to work from...He's an awesome guitarists though and he plays the drums a lil bit too..
