Metal
Sorry man, Metallica sold out with their self titled album. 'Garage Days', 'Ride the Lightning' - those were albums. Then they wrote a love song.
Metal ended with Lemmy.
Lemmy used to post on CKA.

Russian citizen.
Professor of Economics at an Ontario University, he used the name 'Lemmy' on CKA.
Chuck was referring to the late guitarist for Motorhead.

I agree with you to a point. The first few albums after the Black album were poor. But their last two have been a lot like their early stuff. Especially this track.

Meh. Better musically, but the lyrics don't have the power that I like. They seem contrived, not genuine. Like their albums since the Black album.
Take for example one of the best albums in recent history, Disturbeds' "Immortalized". Here's some powerful metal:
Nobody does a guitar solo duet like Disturbed.
Or Sonata Arctica, in the 'Symphonic Metal' category. Also some incredible lyrics.
"Every night when I'm looking at the full moon rising,
I hold you and know that we are FREE!"
Great music, great story.
I like Tool and the Deftones honestly. I've seen both in concert. As a guilty pleasure, I like Sabaton... songs about WW2? Yes please.
But I'm more of a Industrial man, Rammstein, NIN and the like.

I'm with you there. I would love to see Rammstien in concert in Moscow or Berlin.
I have a feeling I wouldn't fit in with the crown though.
Well take off the crown. Not every one needs to know who you are, your Imperial Majesty...
D'oh!
