Without question the best Hip song is "wheat kings"
I've heard of that band (Alan Parson's Project) but I can't think of any songs by them right now. Can you recommend one to me I seem to have a simnilar tast in music as you, CanadaKA.

CHECK OUT THE SUMMIT SERIES FORUM!
heyhey im not a HUGE fan of the HIP, but i do luv the song BLOW AT HIGH DOUGH haha
Blow at High Dough is good one...although all their stuff is good. my favorite songs would have to be Fiddler's Green, Boots or Hearts, and Wheat Kings!
P.S. i also love that hockey song...but i can't think of the name
Alan Parsons is so sweet!
you can get all ther albums on kazaa, or there really cheap at A&B Sound, $9.99 I think.
Im positive you would reconize some of there songs, they have soooooo many. of of the more well known songs is "Eye in the Sky"
Which Hockey SOng> "50 mission cap" or "Fireworks" ?
There both sweet and give you glimpses into history. 1972. 1972.
Speaking of which why don't the hip and the Summit Series have their own sections, eh?
Yeah...Fireworks...that's it!!! I love that song, but 50 mission cap is good too!
That was the song that really got me into the Hip. Thank you Morpheus after that a started buying their CDs. Anyone have a fav song from IVL (violet light)
Personaly, my favorite song off of in violet light, would have to be The Dark Canuck. I like it so much that I use it as my alias on this site, and many others. Next favorite song off of that album is The Darkest One. Has anybody ever heard the song Forest Edge? It's a cool song that never made it on to the album, but I still really like it. I'm probably one of the biggest Hip fans around and I listen to their albums almost everyday. I think it's so cool how they stay true to Canada and referance so many Canadian events and places in their music, they really are one of the greatest storytelling bands in the world!
