This is a hard one, I would have to say The Guess Who and Finger Eleven.
Somewhere on this site someone was taking about how racist the prairies were/or, are. Someone told me about how they were at a bar concert with the above band The Guess Who. A native guy needed to go to the washroom and got up. As he walked by the stage, the leadsinger kicked at his head and just missed him.I understand your point, but... Freddy Mercury was kind of a weird guy (to say the least

) but does that fact make him a worse performer?
The late great Freddy Mercury was the lead singer for Queen. Maybe you're thinking of Burton Cummings?
Regardless, I'd be sceptical of a story that "someone" told some guy on the internet.
All I tried to say, is the lead singer of the Guess Who might want to try to kick someone (which is kinda weird) but that doesn't make him a worse performer then he was before he did. And the topic is about favourite bands, not their behaviour...
I know exactly who Freddy Mercury was, having (almost all of) their records at home...

DangerMouse only tells the truth and it is the singer that you mentioned. I always liked that one song called "Charlamagne." I heard this through a friend living in Prince George...where a lot of prairie folks relocat. Really, when you think about it, why would someone bother to say something unless it were true? What would be the point of dreaming up something like that? I believe it, considering all the negative stuff I've heard about the prairies....All the person basically said was the singer tried to kick him in the head as he walked by the stage...he had to go to the washroom and I guess the Guess Who singer thought he was walking out on him... The Guess Who was good but Rush is better.
Yep. Rush.

BTO was better then Burton Cummings solo career, I think The Band was probably the top. Arcade Fire is the best band still playing though.

Funny thing--Cummings and Bachman are playing on CBC right now...I find it hard to believe that he is still that brownhaired. WHen did those albums come out--25 to 30 years ago? Is that a wig he has? He does look kinda rednecky.
