lets just herd them all into little communities around the schools so they can go about their merry "black focused" way. funny im feeling a bit of deja vu.
after all ,learning in the public system of english ,math and science is so non african focused and biased against the blacks. how on earth could they have a chance to graduate??
for shame ontario!.
hey!!that means i could get an all white school for sure could i not ? its only fair?
only the idiots here in ontario. this is an ndp platform for sure. look for dumbasses like olivia chow to get involved soon
Snappy post Igloo. Black schools, oh well.
an all black school is not a right
however, governments are free to create things that is not a right,
Segregation might be a fix, but it's not a solution.
All black schools? Really? Wow. Thats one of the worst ideas that I have heard from a politician in a while. I would just like to know what 'African Centered' means, from an educational standpoint. While I agree that the system is at least partially to blame for drop outs and gangs and so on, creating a segregated school can't be the answer.
On this I thoroughly endorse McGinty's reaction.
From personal observation and experience hereabouts the system does need to be improved. The current PC code of conduct is just a book when-ever a black kid is involved. If a white and black kid have a confrontation....the system comes down hard on the white kid and the black kid is comforted as a victim----regardless circumstances, witnesses even video tape.
This mentality would only be amplified with such 'African Centered' schools.
Under such a system the students would just graduate to prison---or boot hill.
Thanks for the article Igloo.
The North American Continent is segre"gated."
When you focus on down the chain it becomes micro segregation on masse. An oxymoron?
The education system was not designed for diversity. Full stop.
For less than the elite it's hobbled along and is clearly crippled at this juncture. Sea change?
It's about coinage and control.
Religious schools are flat out segregated educational institutions supported by the "Public Purse." Another oxymoron?
You must be the right faith-based "denomination" for those texts.
This is the rule and we all know it.
Bountiful...sits in everyone's face in violation of this countries law against Polygamy. Outrage? Barely.
Canadians have paid for decades to support and educate these specific children. Mind you, they are only allowed a certain level of education. This particular colony has extracted billions. Nobody talks in millions anymore. A lengthy history to this story.
The foot dragging from "on high" in this country is curious to say the least.
Nevermind what the neigbours think of the compound.
This subject will always produce sharp sticks and for very good reason.
They're designed for divisive results. Quite the crafty bunch I say.
However, I came here to share this little gem of history.
Watch all the clips if you can. These rarely viewed historical "Vinettes" are fairly brief.

Thats racism.
Who can even think about it??? Geesh, what a dumbasses
A fitting shoe.
Groupthink is a type of thought exhibited by group members who try to minimize conflict and reach consensus without critically testing, analyzing, and evaluating ideas. Groupthink may cause groups to make hasty, irrational decisions, where individual doubts are set aside, for fear of upsetting the group’s balance. The term is usually used as a derogatory term after the results of a bad decision.
Symptoms of groupthink
In order to make groupthink testable, Irving Janis devised eight symptoms that are indicative of groupthink (1977).
1. A feeling of invulnerability creates excessive optimism and encourages risk taking.
2. Discounting warnings that might challenge assumptions.
3. An unquestioned belief in the group’s morality, causing members to ignore the consequences of their actions.
4. Stereotyped views of enemy leaders.
5. Pressure to conform against members of the group who disagree.
6. Shutting down of ideas that deviate from the apparent group consensus.
7. An illusion of unanimity with regards to going along with the group.
8. Mindguards â€â€
Jeesh Dusk, WTF does this copy/paste have to do with anything?
Provide your source, okay?
As racist an idea as this sounds, it might not be a bad idea if it's created by and for black people, and not just some white politicians. Really, I think a lot of problems would be better solved if people would just take the time to raise their children, though.
another hot button/controvercial education issue coming from ontario , just what we needed rate now.
You missed the message Brenda.
Sasquatch recognizes it.
Amazing. Fifty years ago black folks were fighting to end segregation and now they fight to bring it back.
