The plan to block all news

The libs are doing with this bill what they did with the gun bill. Rake stepping.

Google and Facebook can and will pull the plug and they SHOULD! This was a hairbrained scheme from step one. It's the government that is to blame for the barren news hellscape that we have today and THEY should fix it and stop scapegoating big tech.

Media companies are going to rail against their free supply of product being monetized to compensate the creators who aren't monetized. Not unexpected. Canadian people supporting news orgs so that Google and Facebook can rake in billions from the work is perfectly acceptable cost/benefit situation to them.

But the Liberals of course are taking it to the wrong level.
