Judging by the fact they published this I don't think they CARE if the rest of Canada is fed up with them.
Yup, it's sad to see that there are people who seriously want to turn Quebec classrooms into dens of propaganda (as if it isn't already bad enough!).
But those supporting this idea are relatively marginal, even within the separatist movement. PQ bigshots including André Boisclair have already stated that they have no interest in adopting this group's proposal.
$1:
High school students are asked to speculate on what should be included in the constitution of an independent Quebec, for example an article protecting children from violent video games.
If a constitution actually included that

anywho it seems even this pisses off even the seperatists...
$1:
In a written statement, Andre Boisclair, the PQ leader, said it is not the job of teachers to win Quebecers over to the sovereignty cause. "This work cannot and must not be considered pedagogical material intended for children. It does not have, and under a Parti Quebecois government will not have, any place in school."
Rejean Parent, the head of Quebec's largest teachers' union, a traditional ally of the sovereignty movement, said his members would not participate in the "brainwashing operation" proposed by the Conseil de la souverainete.
Pure desperation by an antiquated political movement – I’ll wager that this drivel exhibits zero pedagogical value. Besides, most separatists are already dogmatic adherents to their over simplistic agenda, so it’s not a huge surprise that they would want more automatons for the cause. What a bunch of jokes – and I especially like the part where it’s intimated that this is a balance to “federalist propaganda”. I’d love for one of these twits to weigh in on curriculum development in Ontario and outline the “federalist propaganda”.
Lastly, it should be noted that curriculum implementation isn’t in the future for this garbage, so at least cooler heads still have a say in some educational matters in Quebec
Actually this story has hurt the PQ separatist party and they are distancing themselves from the book.....
A someone already mentioned, the leader of the PQ has said that this book would never see the light of a classroom if they are elected...
The PQ provided funding to the group that created the book, but apparently had no ro input into the content after arranging the financing.....
"an independent Quebec would not require an army, so there would be billions of dollars to spend on other projects"
Well I guess it will be even easier than I though it would have been, when we roll in there and take the land right back.

Desperation tactics at it's worst. Canada should employ the CSIS to root out these traitors and stamp them out for good instead of allowing them to grow and fester resulting in these sorts of tactics to even be thought of.

CSIS can root them out and then we can all take up a collection and send them all back to france where they belong.

Well well well the conseil de la souvrainté publish a book that will only be available in library and it will not be use in school
but It's Ok that my taxe$ dollard is use to propangadize my Kids! great I'm sure that none of you here disagree with such a policy Hypocrite.

This is a funny coincidence since I myself was set to launch my own book called Let's Talk About Sovereignty At School next month. Among the problems I'll suggest for students:
Kindergarten Lessons
Teach children that they shouldn't be sore losers. Have the class vote on a class mascot. After the first election, do it again. Ask them if they feel it's necessary to hold a third vote on the topic.
Field Trip
Tour Bombardier. Casually point out the millions (billions) of dollars they get each year from the federal government.
Grade 4 Math Problem
How many youth novels, at 15$ a piece, could you buy with the $200,000 grant given to The Council for Quebec Sovereignty by the PQ?
Sports
Project the starting six on defense for Team Quebec, in international tournaments.
High School Experiment
Gather together a group of volunteers. Randomly assign the volunteers to two groups, with half using cocaine, and half eating poutine. Compare the ability of the two groups at a series of simple tasks such as reading, arithmeticc, and being a high level Cabinet Minister.
University Research Project
Study economics. Study psychology. Diagnose the mental illness suffered by anyone who thinks sovereignty would be good for the Quebec economy.
CSIS is mandated to investigate individuals or groups that may pose a threat to the security of Canada. As defined in section 2 of the CSIS Act, threats include espionage or sabotage, foreign-influenced activities or activities in support of terrorism. Section 2 specifically bars CSIS from investigating “lawful advocacy, protest or dissent,” unless it is carried out in conjunction with one of the threat-related activities defined in the Act.
I think writing a book is still allowed within the law in Canada......Remember no one has said anything about putting this book in schools...
It is just some fringe group who wrote a book.......

The publisher, Les Editions des Intouchables, thanks both provincial and federal government funding agencies for their support.
Does anybody proof read this shit... our Canadian money helped publish it...
They say that Quebec wouldn't need an army... Bouchard wanted to keep the F-18s from Gagotville.
