Environment top priority, PM says
Glad to see he's getting the message.
Hopefully he's not too hard on Ambrose though, she's the hottest MP since Stronach. If those 2 got together for the purpose of Bi-Partisanship(;);)
) that would be freakin awesome!!

Perfect time for Dion to say the envirnoment is not the issue, the economy is soft for lots people.
Well, at least something may finally be done about the environment. The environment is much more than climate change, but economics and the future. Though the cause of climate change is debatable the fact that it is happening is not. I don't really care if his heart is in it or not as long as something is done! Yay!

I'll wait till I here the proposed changes.

Just dont lie and tell us the permafrost is melting.
Yeah, good ol' Steve waits until he realises that Dion is a huge enviro-geek and then realises that Canadians care about that kind of stuff.
The plan to cut emissions in half by 2050 is laughable.

Ok as long as you don't tell us that the 40 Mt of GHG's being pumped into the air by the oil industry every year are actually good for the environment.
Avro Avro:
Okay, besides the fact that this guy keeps changing his priorities, why do you suppose this sudden change and the coming axing of the Ambrose?
Mr. Harper is obviuosly taking the advice of Mulroney but more importantly he may believe that greenhouse gases are indeed helping to create global warming.
I for one would like to hear him say it, if he can't, how could he do anything about it?
Changing priorities how? Back on the glue again?
Considering Harper has tackled a great amount of his key election priorities, perhaps you need to familiarize yourself with the CPC platform in which Harper ran on.
I'll direct you to page 19 of the CPC Platform. He followed through on his exact plan in the platform.
This is not a new priority nor is it a change. It's something that has to be taken care of.
Priorities change when in government when you move from issue to issue. Especially when issues are tackled and you move forward. Don't play stupid just for the sake of making an argument.

Um. I clearly stated the cause may be debatable but the garbage being pumped into our environment is completely unacceptable. Basically, we are not helping the situation and should take all steps to turn back the clock.

This statement confuses me.

This statement is half right. You are right in what you said about Steven Harper but Dion was anything but a champion of the environment.

Yes, Steven Harper has been
very good with keeping his promises in comparison to most politicians. Yay Steve.

Have you seen BS lately, she should use some of her bucks to fix that image of "beat with the ugly stick" she's got going on.
Kyoto is still a waste of time and money. Let's hope he at least does something useful on the environment rather than bend to pressure to adopt such a pointless exercise in utter futility.

This is what I like to see. Conservatives to announce $200-million biofuels plan I've definately been waiting for the government to get busy with some alternate fuel plan. It's not only good for the environment but it opens up new markets for farmers.

The scary thing is that he's not playing stupid, he just is.
Yay! Canada's going to SAVE THE WORLD!!!!
