I don't subscribe to cable, because I find it useless. However I would like to watch all the federal debates and speeches. Does anyone know where on the internet I can find them? For example the debates that will be happening his Thursday and Wednesday. Thanks for the help.
are you in an urban area?
Buy/borrow a cheap antenna and you're guaranteed to pick up the CBC, and possibly CTV and Global too, and you can watch it.
Off topic note, can anyone point me to the website where you submit video quesetions to the leaders...the moderator guy had some commercial going about it...really trying to find the website to do that.
If you have web access go to cpac.
Why did this have to turn into a personal attack. I don't purchase cable because i don't like the shows on T.V. I just buy dvd sets of my favourite show which averages out to be around 40 bucks a month so it is not a question of being cheap. I would rather my money go to the producers of something I like, rather than rogers or bell. The television shows I like have already been canceled so i can just purchase them easily on DVD. Anyways I guess I could buy an antenna, although it would only be used for those debates.
Does Cpac show the live debates?
Well in this case you were wrong, I am not cheap. I spend a lot of money on things I enjoy such as entertainment like T.V. Or on culture pursuits such as operas. Anyways where could I find an antenna? I have never had to go shopping for one before.
I'm not 100% sure but normally most of the major channels will re-broadcast it over the net. Try the CBC webpage or maybe The Nationals webpage (yes I know it's also CBC). If nothing else you should be able to pick up all of it not pieces of it on youtube a day or two later.
I don't subscribe to cable, its crap.
I have an ATSC antenna to get free CBC Hgh Def.
Please stop the personal attacks, its off topic.
Try "Source" /Radio Shack or Walmart. They're cheap.
Thank you Dino, both you and Canadaka have been a huge help. I guess a mod can close this since my question has been answered, that's how it works for the site I mod at least. But I don't know the rules here so do as you wish with this thread. Thanks again to everyone who helped.
