Grouching masquarading as moralizing

There's lot of moralizing around
At kitchen tables and that
Corporations are evil polluters, for example
It's never ending complaining
Grousing with a pretence to elevated moralizing
It's just grouching about life really
As "we" pollute, for example
So it's a little embarrassing
And real boring.
I wouldn’t normally mention it
But I was just over at the in-laws
Where I got hit from all sides
Like modern life had treated them all badly
To well done

I thought of a conversation device, one you can use in political discussions.

If you hear an idea of dubious logic, one you can’t quite follow or is out right bad politically just say that must be a left wing idea. Works for me.

Seems like a good way to stifle discussion to me.

I've been on CKA for a couple of years now. If you make half an effort to post articulately I will listen. The "left wing", the government is supressing information on UFO's, I won't listen to.

There's a right wing loonie swamp as well as a left wing loonie swamp. As far as I can make out. So you have a good point, are correct.

Have you ever considered that nobody is actually keeping UFO secrets, and that there just isn't any information to be had?

Er, romanP - I believe that's what I implied.

This seems to remind me of a saying.

"It is easier to curse the darkness than to light a candle"

Yes, the cursing does nothing in the end, unless it sparks one to action and actually do something.

So Grouch, Moralize, let your point of view be known. Don't let it end there if it is a cause that you truly care about. Find someway to turn it into action and make a difference. The voice and concern is just the starting point. Take the next step.
