In a nutshell, Taylor argues that Ottawa has no business to impose or even promote English in Quebec.
Just like Quebec has no busniness blackmaleing Ottawa for more handouts every election. They stop doing that, then maybe I'll have some sympathy. Until then, as long as my province is supporting Quebec, they can speak fucking English.
Quebec will continue to ask for all natural resources' royalties to be included in the equalization formula because it is the right thing to do.

I'm not talking about natural resources. I'm talking about industry. Industry who's revenue we keep sending to Quebec, which has enough industry to support itself but simply refuses to do so.

You are misusing the term "industry". Natural resources are the site of the extraction (primary) industrial sector; manufacturing is the site of other industries forming the transformation (secondary) sector.

The first question Quebec separatists have to ask is the last one they want to ask: is leaving Canada would be insulting Canada?

I think the first question Quebec separtists should ask is "Would we survive without the tons of Government handouts we get from the feds?"

It would be ridiculous for separatists to fear starvation.

You're right. The US would invade, take control of the St. Lawrence, and Quebec would become the 51st state.

When you will be able to make better guess about the most important asset that Quebec has for Americans come back.

I agree, I am tired of being hamstrung and muscled around by one minority province.
I say let them go. See ya!
If Quebec left...
Well it would cut the driving time to Cape Breton down by about 7 hrs!
Hmmmm The Duchy of Alberta.... has a neat ring to it no?
