if 1000 innocent people, were slaughtered by a nation and some of them were my friends and family, and I now lived in a country where freedom of speech and expression were encouraged, I wonder if I could show the same kind of restraint as most of these protesters, (strategic photo's of 0.1% of the crowd excluded)

   

Waving a flag or wearing a shirt in support of Hezbollah doesn't make one a "terrorist". If that is the case then I could use the same argument for anyone supporting Israel in the same fashion.

I know how much you Tory foot soldiers love the "moral unequivocal stand" but sadly life isn't so simple as black and white, good and bad. Yes Hezbollah has carried out or been implicated in terrorist acts, the Beirut embassy and barracks bombings, Buenos Aires attacks, TWA hijacking but it also almost single-handedly liberated Lebanese territory from the humiliation of an occupation, provides many social and economic services to the local population and is seen as the only entity capable of defending that population.
Now i know from the comfort of your keyboard ridenrain its easy for you to be all detached and superior and pass judgment but if you can't see why the Southern Lebanese population would support Hezbollah then you really are hopelessly blinkered

I was looking over the old election threads where the CPC was connected with the NRA, USA, KKK and even those evil christians.
There sure was a whole lot of rightious indignation that they would dare to be seen with any of those folks, none of which were terrorists.

So far we have Liberal connections to the Tamil Tigers, now Hezbulla, along with the Block and the NDP.

Considering the new anti-gang legislation, can we have these groups banned now?

   

Your right RR, why tkae the time to understand the both sides of an issue when you can just alienate one group and label them as terrorists. After all most of these groups took up weapons for no reason and just started arbitrarily killing people.

   

Maybe you should send temp. leader of the Liberal party, Billy Graham a letter asking why he ruled that Hezbulla was a terrorist group.
Maybe you can put in a good word for the Tamil Tigers, Al Queda or Adolph Hitler, while you're at it.

Hello dear Canadians,

First, i want to "denoncier", i want to "condamner", i want to "say its not right to do this" about the people who bright Hezbollah Flag, T-shirt and "bad poster" about Israel.


Second, yeah... i will do something that i dont like... It's to "ethnic aim" people. But people who bright this was Lebaneses... or Kid of lebaneses... They propably left Liban ( in french it's called Liban ) when they had civil war.

And Hezbollah do many "social things" like build school and hospital. They use the money for Iran and Syrie not just for wars. But for the social too.

And theses "social gift" are good for their reputation in Liban. So they got "fan" by doing this.

Like the "Samourai", they did do social things too, for keeping the population on their side.

So some adult and young adult, who propably lived or told story about their parents, bright these hezbollah things.


So for people who say that is "Quebecers" who bright that, for people who say that walk was in majority for "Hezbollah", for people who said that Denis Coderre ( Liberal Federal deputee ) Gilles Duceppe ( Bloc Leader ) and André Boisclair ( PQ leader ) are FOR Hezbollah. I say to you NO

The walk was in Majority PRO-PEACE ! Against the "Right Wing" gouvernement of Israel, AGAINST THE ATTACK OF HEZBOLLAH.
