Would be political suicide for the NDP.....hovering ~19%, they don't need any loss of credibility.

It's sad that acknowledgement of common ground and working together is seen as a loss of credibility. I guess the only "credible" way to stop splitting the vote is to have some guy sandbag the little party into folding into the larger.
