Ahhhh,Alberta, the province the rest of Canada loves to hate.
Nah, that would be Quebec...hell, even Alberta hates Quebec!
No,just the folks that keep holding the rest of us hostage, thats what most of us hate.
People hate Alberta because of jelousy methinks, the better we do the more harm folks want to see happen to us. The majority of people I work with arent from Alberta or western Canada but they dont feel like that IMO.Their here to work and make some money to make things better for their families regardless of where they are.
In the last 4 years I have probably met and chatted with over a thousand people from all over Canada at my work, only a couple of that thousand were born in Alberta or grew up here so I think I get a pretty wide picture of people and what they think. I love the pioneering spirit of some people to make a better life for themselves even if it means moving to where the work is.
I will also say about a third of that thousand was from Quebec as it was Agnico eagle that bought the one gold property where I was at.
God bless them for sending french supermodels up to camp to work.

When the Economy Cools and everyone figures out just how freakin Cold Alberta gets, we BC'ers will welcome all with open arms. Even the Albertans!
Hell Ziggy, I did the exact same thing with a 10 ft. holiday trailer years ago. I could sit on the bed, hot coffee on the stove and fish. Nice and cozy! Oh, this hurts to admit, but I did indeed live in Moronville at the time!
