Conservative minority=good
Conservative majority=bad
Interesting! I think I can agree with this to some extent. A minority Conservative gov't wouldn't be able to do too much harm, but a majority Conservative win would be the worst-case scenario.
Oh My God, someone who finally sees both sides and makes sense!!!!
I'm voting Conservative because my priorities include keeping enough of my pay cheque to feed my family and save for their future. If your priority is gay marriage, please vote for those thieves.
I'm from Ontario, but don't blame me. It's Toronto that keeps us enslaved with the federal Liberals. And they wonder why no-one likes them?

Oh no believe me that was the message behind it. Just keep it up. The Alberta Seperatists are drooling at such attacks. Cause when/if Harper looses the election after those attacks on him, they will easily be able to spin it as an attack on his ideas are really an attack on Alberta Values. And that therefore Alberta has no place in Canada.
Hey don't take my word for it...e-mail them..ask them what they think of the attcks of Harper means for their cause:

Unlike the four founding provinces, Alberta cannot really seperate, since this province did not join confederation, but was CREATED by confederation

Well, that's ridiculous...Pathetic, really.
Anyways, I find how the West is always complaining about underrepresentation hard to swallow. It's representation by population. The east has a much larger population than the West - We should have more MP's representing us, should we not?
According to elections canada there is to be approximatly 82000 people in each riding. which is followed in the east to a fair extent. That is a proportionate representation. Although out west I can tell you that we are not represented as much. For instance in centeral alberta we have one riding, which approximately covers 130000 people. This is happening all over alberta, we are growing faster than any provence, population wise and have been for the last 20 years. Yet we still haven't had many changes. other than to the major centers and they need changing again. Calgary has broken the 1 mil. mark and Edmonton is on that verge. Which means that each of these citys should have a least 12 ridings I know that for a fact that Calgary & Edmonton only have 8
