Osama Bin Layton is really the leader in supporting terrorists in Canada.

His dog Chow was eaten up by Bawlinda the blonde idiot from Markham and now she no longer snoozes on Parliament Hill all she does is squat to pee in order to make her point.

So Osama Bin Layton has a bunch NDP supporters who believe in terrorists being alive and well.

Arf arf arf..

Stay tuned to Al Jazeera aka CBC to watch Osama Bin Layton puke.

Canadian1971 is Osama Bin Latyons deputy terrorist NDPer.

The NDP is nothing morn than a terrroist organization in Canada and when the first attack occurs that kills men women and children in this country these NDPers will deny they are behind it but they are.

The NDP is Al Qaeda's twin.

LOL, go play with your action figures and shut the fuck up.

Maggie's obviously a bit of a headcase.

That said, if you really think about it, Jack's recent comments probably do give succor to the Taliban. They are getting a pasting at the hands of Canadian soldiers in Pangewei at the moment. But they also watch North American news. And when they see Canadian political leaders making hay out of every Canadian death over there, they realize that all they have to do is kill a Canadian or two a week and the public's opposition to the war will grow.

That's our weakness.

its also our strength, we are a free society, people have every right to question or oppose such things. That is what we are fighting for isn't it? to protect these freedoms and bring these freedoms to the people of Astan.

I think Laytons new postiion is a smart one politicaly, there is probably a lot more people that don't support the mission, or think the troops should be withdrawn than people think, or some polls say.

and Maggiemygosh, your getting pretty annoying "bit of a headcase" is an understatment.

Is it really our "strength"?

It goes without saying that we are a free society. But we were a "free society" in 1942. Yet, back then we didn't have pictures of every Canadian soldier who died in combat coming home in a coffin live on tv.

In the first half of the 1990's, we literally had dozens of Canadian soldiers a year dying and suffering serious injuries in Yugoslavia, Rwanda and Somalia. But I don't recall one TV program from that time dedicated to showing their familie's suffering.

Yet suddenly, the whole country cares about the kids in Afghan.

Forgive me if, as a former Canadian solider from that period, I'm a little cynical.

I think Jack and the other anti-war types don't give a fuck about the principles behind the war. It's just an issue they can gain political mileage out of.

As former sailor i would tend to agree with you about Jack Layton and the NDP, but it does seem that they are returning back to thier hard left roots, the idiotic days when they actively sought to pull Canada out of NATO. But now instead they want to 'support' the troops by pulling them out (an asnine idea)

However im glad that thier is a geater awareness of the sacrifice that service members make everyday, even its only on a peripheral level

Maggiemygosh @ Tue Sep 12, 2006 4:37 am

If this was WWII Osama Bin Layton and his supporters would be imprisoned,

There was a prison camp near my home town during WWII and there was a bunch of lefty idiots who were in there because of their unintelligent public statements.

This current bunch of ndper's deserve the same thing.

STOP putting our troops in a vulnerable mode and creating disension in this country. THAT is what the NDP ARE ALL ABOUT.

They even ignore what are brave men and women did to preserve peace, security and freedom and in todays world the NDP abuse it.

ridenrain @ Tue Sep 12, 2006 6:03 am

He should have the right to say those things, but the good sense not to. Saying crap like this just anchors the NDP further off in loony land.

Pissed @ Tue Sep 12, 2006 1:57 pm

Layton is such a communist it isn't even funny. If he ever got into power Canada would crash and burn in about five seconds. I am not a fan our soldiers getting blasted to bits by some afghani's but I would never support Gayton in a million years.
