Hey everyone,
I am a Political Science student at Simon Fraser University. I am in the midst of compiling data for a research project, wherein 1,000 participants will be asked specific questions relating to public policy surrounding physician-assisted suicide in Canada. If I could please have a few minutes of your time to complete a brief four minute survey. Your time would be very much appreciated.
The survey is available at the following link:

All information will be kept secure, confidential and anonymous.
Sincerely,
Lindsay Zibrik

Done. Interesting topic. Good luck with it.
and done. Good luck!
Hey, thank you all.
Really? You're the first that has said that.
I have a mechanism in data collection that reports the average time taken to complete the survey and it's sat at 4 minutes, and hasn't budged for a couple of days now.
The questions aren't easy. They really make you think...
Good to hear you took the time to work through it.
Appreciated,
Lindsay
Interesting survey.
I certainly don't think the authority should be given to the government to decide for us. It should go to referendum.
Done, and under a minute I think. Good luck.
Done, and that's an interesting topic!
I agree you Ripcat, that it should go to Referendum.
I also don't think it devalues life. Being alive and not being able to live for whatever reason (terminal illness etc) devalues life in my opinion.
Finished.
I think it kind of devalues life. However, I think that people should be able to decide for themselves. Close family deciding for them is a big no from me, though.
And done. Good luck with your project!
Very interesting and timely topic IMO.
I also agree with Lily:
Interesting question alright. Post the results! I agree with doing away with the sick. Why keep a person around if they ain't going to get better. Let them pick their departure date and time.
My grandmother took 19 months to die. The last 7 months she was so hyped on drugs she didn't know her own name. That 7 months meant that someone who wasn't terminal with stomach cancer had to wait for a bed to open up so they could have their surgery. Screw that. When the time is right, wack the patient and open up the bed for someone who isn't on borrowed time! Sure would help with those nasty waiting lists wouldn't it!
Love Always,
Samantha
