michou michou:
That said, what can Québecers and Canadians do to resolve it without splitting the nation in two ?
1. Reopen the constitution (I know I know ... not much fun)
2. Recognize Québec as a distinct nation so that it can solely regulate some aspects of judicial and economical importance it judges necessary to the survival of its society.
3. Even better, maybe it is time to seriously consider revamping federalism altogether and set up Canada as a true Confederation of Nations and finally resolve First Nations requests for more autonomy, Québec's aspirations for nationhood and Canadians' hope to see their country intact from coast to coast.
Don't it sound good ? The Confederation of Canada !

Without it, Québec will take the first exit door and strike out on its own.
I've heard this before. Why isn't it more popular?

been along time since we had a honest PM or politicians. we have lazy elites that dont think ahead. they would rather waste time and money keeping the same problems going. kinda divide and conquer, look at all the new money promiced lately to try and buy votes next election by Liberals.

I dont think any of them expect or care if the country lasts its sad
