Canada Kicks Ass
So apparently the country named Canada doesn't work at all.

Drinking his beer? [BB]

So you honestly expect to insult the leader and not be banned? Dumb shit.

Eloquent and succinct.

QuickCall. My ancestors were in Canada well before 1867 too. I can trace them back as far as the late 1600's and I have a strong French background.
That does not give me the right to insult anyone anywhere so I don't do it.

Read carefully, I was attacked first and just fought back.
I'm not allowed to fight back because I'm new here?

Here is another proof of your great intellect... "dumb shit"?
I am an adult, and an independant free man.
I don't need a leader. Is this a sect or what?
When people are impolite and attack me, I have the right to fight back, no matter where I am.
I was invited here.
Do you invite people to your home to try to insult and dominate them?
Never mind that question...
But tell me, is that your real picture with the cats on your shoulders?

The Hoser @ Tue Aug 16, 2005 10:01 am

It's fakkin' Trailer Park Boys, what, you live under a rock? Wait a sec...

And 'Retard,' 'redneck,' and 'Brainwashed Anti-French Fanatic,' are incredible examples of your own.

Oh, and who invited you? Was it the same person who invited Canadaluvv, KanuckyFiredChicken, and Saladahead? Cuz I'd like to have a word with them.

Who called who a retard first?
Wasn't it you?
If not, at least, I know it's not me.
As for the "anti-french fanatic", you can read the messages posted on this forum and see that it is the case with some people.
Maybe you can't see it because you're one of them?
And if someone acts as a red-neck, then he will be called that way.
A solution to this is to stop acting as a red-neck.
Anyone who says things like "The french frogs should be deported back to France" or anything like that is, in my book, an anti-french red neck.
Note that most people here can have a discussion without acting like a anti-french fanatic red neck, but there are exceptions, unfortunately.

I won't tell you which member invited me here, because I fear that some would attack him/her. That wouldn't be nice of me to that person.

P.S. Is that you on the picture with the two cats on the shoulders?

The Hoser @ Tue Aug 16, 2005 11:05 am

I just told you, it's Bubbles from Trailer Park Boys. The greatest show ever. And that's not just personal opinion.

I most certainly did not say 'The French Frogs Should be Deported back to France.' and if I did I must have been on some wicked Acid. I'm not anti-French. I don't see why you'd get the impression; I was argueing that Canada, although the first Europeans to land here were in fact French fishermen off the coast of Newfoundland (Well, actualy, it was the Norse if you want to get specific) was never a French nation. If anything, the French themselves were invaders, as were the British and the Spaniards and the rest of them. You showed French maps showing this land was called Canada; and that is true, although I'm fairly certain the French called it Kanada or Kanata, but nontheless, just because the place was named Canada by the French does not mean that a country named Canada ever existed here before the British created one; it was a land, a very, very big one that had a country founded on it, but a land nontheless. Not a politically-recognised country. The British took what the French couldn't hold onto; and that's life. If you can't hold on it your gona lose it. Life's a bitch.

"I won't tell you which member invited me here, because I fear that some would attack him/her. That wouldn't be nice of me to that person."

Fair enough.

All the more reason to leave when you've been asked to.

Ok, I am asking you to leave.
What will you do, leave?
Just because I want you to?
Or is it some double standard, rules that apply only to newcomers, or to those damn frogs?
In case you already forgot, I am asking you to leave.

You are trying to hold on to details to prevent others from seing the whole picture.
You tought (that's ok) and said out loud (that's not) that Canada did not exist before the british invasion. I proved you wrong, and now you adjust your fire, but keep firing.
It's sad the way this forum is built doesn't permit me to go directely to my first message, because I am pretty sure you are the one who called me a retard first. Yet, you weren't banned for that, I was banned for calling you a retard in return. British fair play?
No matter if Canada was called Kanada or Canne à dada. What does it change? You were trying to deny the fact that there was already a french colony here for centuries. Just a way of puting others down, like when you call DeGaulle DeGirl. The guy has nothing like a girl.
Double standards, hypocrisy...etc.

I have noticed how english-canadians can pronounce Jean Charest's name correctely (two silent letters "st") but cannot pronounce Lucien Bouchard's name right (one silent letter "d"). That is just another proof of the ways of thinking of some, like you.

The Hoser The Hoser:
The British took what the French couldn't hold onto; and that's life. If you can't hold on it your gona lose it. Life's a bitch.

Are you saying that if France was to invade Canada tomorrow, you would accept it, pledge allegiance to the republic and accept being treated like a member of an inferior race?
Too far fetched? Ok, what if China was to invade Canada, would you be first in line pledging allegiance to China?

The truth is, when you invade a country and dont kill everyone in it, they end up fighting back some day. Life is a bitch as you said, so stop complaining against french speaking people just because you live in a province (from the latin provinciae, which means conquered territory) where most people speak a language which you cannot or will not learn.

P.S. Is that you on the picture or not? I asked you a dozen times already.

WTF QuickCall i banned you for a day, danned your ip range, but it changes so often, you obviosuly would have gotten one "banned" sentinel page, but waited for your ip to change and continued to post.
I am banning your account for 2 days now.

Yes, you banned me again, without ever telling me why. Bravo!
I guess it makes you feel powerful to ban people, especialy if they state facts that you would like not to be.

It doesn't change anything. Canada was colonized by the fench first, and then conquered by the british, and now it's a bilingual country, under the rule of the crown of england.
Some might not like seeing half of their cereal boxes printed in french and grind their teeth everytime they ear "Merci beaucoup" at the end of a speech.
Personaly, I like living in a bilingual country. More culture!
And of course, I agree that the aborigenes were here before my direct ancestor.

All this because Mustang and Hoser wanted to "debate", and almost denied that the french were ever here.
If it pleases some anti-french imperialists to say that Canada was founded in 1867, and that before that, nothing but Indians, and trees, and snow, well, so be it. This way, Quebecers can start tourist guide businesses, and show tourists how we have a para-normal phenomenon here: buildings and streets that were build before 1867. Maybe aliens teleported all that from europe?

In 2008, Quebec city will celebrate it's 400th aniversary. I'll bet France will send it's president and/or prime minister. Will england send the Queen and/or their PM? I'll bet the event wont even be mentioned in the west, as to not wake people up, and not let them know there was already something going on here before 1867.

Now, more than ever, I understand the "two solitudes" phenomenon.
There probably is propaganda and lies on both sides.
It would probably be best if we united our forces, but, if one side wants to dominate the other, deny their history, deny their rights to self-determination, and so on, I don't think it will ever work...
It's like a marriage, in so many ways.
Now, we have been talking divorce for more than 40 years.
So much antagonising, so much fact twisting, so much hypocritical tactics by our governments...

Good luck with your forum, I wont stick around, since the moderator bans people without giving them a reason. (Of course, he has no good reason)

Get over it. You didn’t know much about Canadian history – I called you on it and all you could do is respond with nonsensical ahistoircal mush laced with profanities. There was no “debate” because you didn’t possess anything even remotely resembling a point or evidence to back up your imbecilic personal agenda. In short, you tried your hand at history and it was an unmitigated disaster. That’s not my fault.

Besides, if don’t like a forum where you can’t attack the owner and moderators with impunity, then leave because this isn’t it. Bye.
