Here is an American blog on the latest sponsorship scandal testimony. Regarding Jean Brault
Google "Canada's Corruption Scandal Breaks Wide Open"
And look for the link to the blog on *Editted Out, Publication Ban Prevents Listing a Direct Source In Canadian Productions*

Interesting testimony. It's way past time to get the liberal scum out of the Canadian Government.

About time people know how the Liberals speak out both sides of their mouths. I think someone should post the text of this banned material.
I always knew they were liars now everybody can see it.

Mr Martini call the election today, smart ass

The sponorship scandel had already been evinced prior to the 2004 election. It made some impact, clearly, but people stll are weary of voting conservative after the 'unpleasentness'. Though Martin doesn't really cut it as a liberal for me.

He was no Trudeau, but he was a decent prime minister, yes. Chretien, I could relate to. His economic policies seemed a little more left than Martins, which are starting to look more and more conservative. I'm sure Martin has a big inpact on the fiscal end of the Cretien government;' I wonder if Chretien would have done more socialy if not for Martin.

This is why the Liberals called an early election. No way they would get elected if the info broke before the election.
Only thing was they expected a majority vote..
Tune in for the next saga of watch our dollar drop..<short term anyways>

Grits bring in RCMP
Lawyer says party may have been bilked by AdScam players
By STEPHANIE RUBEC, SENIOR POLITICAL REPORTER

THE FEDERAL Liberal party has called in the RCMP to investigate whether it was defrauded by AdScam players. Lawyer Doug Mitchell said he phoned the Mounties yesterday and asked them to look into whether card-carrying members, ad execs and bureaucrats who ran the $250-million sponsorship program bilked the Liberals.
"I have been directed by my clients to contact the RCMP to ask that they investigate the possibility that the party itself may have been the target of fraud or other harmful acts by certain individuals," Mitchell told reporters. "This is, if proven to be true, a criminal action, plain and simple."
As rumours swirled about the potentially damaging testimony of Montreal ad exec Jean Brault, which is protected by a publication ban, the Liberals went into full defensive mode yesterday.
The Grits obtained the right to grill witnesses at the AdScam inquiry and will bill taxpayers for their legal fees.
"It's clear that the Liberal party's interests are fully in play before us and that the party's reputation risks being affected by what I have heard so far and maybe by what I have yet to hear," Justice John Gomery said.
Ad execs have told Gomery they were strong-armed into donating to the Liberal party before sponsorship funds flowed their way.
Mitchell said he will take on any witnesses who finger the Liberal party to determine the "veracity of various allegations and help to ensure that anyone who may have violated the trust placed in them by the Liberal party is exposed."
Mitchell suggested if Liberals got sponsorship funds illicitly, it was without the party's knowledge. He argued that had the Liberal party benefited from sponsorship funds, the Quebec wing would not have been $3 million in debt when Prime Minister Paul Martin took over in December 2003.
A large part of Mitchell's legal arguments was covered by the publication ban because Gomery believed it resurrected some of Brault's testimony.
Brault is expected to wrap up tomorrow, when lawyers will argue whether to lift the ban or keep his testimony secret until his criminal trial.
The trial is slated for early next month, but Brault's lawyer has asked the judge to delay it until September

whether

Do these guys really think we are that stupid? The Liberals were in this up to their eyeballs, Martini and Chretien as well as others should go to jail, taking money from the big pot and sending it back to the Liberal party is a crime.

What a fucking joke this is.

I am a red stater caught in a blue state and I voted for Bush proudly. If he had a scandal that robbed millions of tax payers dollars to his friends companies I would vote against him. And dont yell Haliburton unless you have proof.
