I believe he should fully have the right to refuse to sign a flag for the troops without being sacked from the team. Having said that, he should fully have the right to be a guest of honour at a blanket party.

Would this be an issue if it was a team picture being sent over to the troops that he refused to sign or is it because it is the Canadian flag?
