Svend steals the NDP nomination for Van Centre

I guess the NDP has adopted the old adage, "Use a thief to catch a thief", in the riding of Vancouver Centre. Svend "I steal because it makes me feel good" Robinson has won the NDP nomination to run against the Liberal incumbent. Ms. Fry is now going to have to roll a couple of convenience stores if she hopes to compete against Robinson.

he's a politician. laws don't seem to apply to them the way they do to taxpayers.

We heard about this congressman...sorry, I can't remember what you ya'll call these politicians. Anyhow, the Texas newspapers really played up his homosexuality and how he used it to get out of the conviction. Now, I can't imagine why anyone would ever vote for him, but if there is one thing I've learned abotu you Canadians, it's that you vote for people no matter how much they take you to the cleaners. You see, both Canadians and Americans have much in common. Neither one of us seem to really see what we are voting for!
