I don't know, Cal. It happens outside of a restaurant/bar in the middle of the afternoon, and somehow there are NO EYEWITNESSES OF THE ABDUCTION?
It's suspicious. This is where our little friend "critical thinking" should come along, tap you in the shoulder and remind you to think twice before getting frantic.
Once again, what do these people stand to gain from lying about this?? Is it more believable to think that they are lying, or that they are telling the truth. What would a "witness" do anyway?? Most people that could be walking in the street that were to see this would only gawk for a minute or 2, then move along wondering... "gee I wonder what that was all about?" and that would be it. Most people don't naturally assume that the police are "up to something" no good.
I don't think that it can be dismissed easily by thinking that it couldn't happen because it hasn't hit mainstream media and no witness's have come forward. Don't forget, these people weren't "abducted" like you suggest. They were questioned in the back of a cruiser, then taken away for more qurestioning in an undisclosed location.

Now where is that tinfoil?
![Bash [bash]](./images/smilies/bash.gif)
So then explain to me the "conspiracy" then? Are you suggesting that these 3 people that went public with this, are lying? What would they stand to gain from that? Or are you suggesting that you don't believe all of the bad things reported on the Bilderberg group - the "conspiracy". If you are suggesting that you don't buy into the "conspiracy" that this group of people is out to impose their own agenda into world affairs... or submit that these people aren't the "bad guys", then why would these 3 people get treated in such a manner?? Why the arrest, the threats, the interogation? Unless they want to keep them quiet, and send a message.
If you are going to chime in with your clever comments at least be prepared to explain yourself.
*sigh*
The problem being is that whoever this investigative group is for prison planet probably isnt going to resonate a whole lot with Canadians, most of the have never heard of the Bilderberg group nor do they care, and frankly why should they.
Did they file a police report, did they take photos of their injuries , have the sought legal representation to sue the Bilderberg in civil court?. This is like something out of the Art bell show where anyone can say anything and the proof they have is no proof at all, because of course there is a vast conspiracy to keep the proof from being found.
I suggest you talk to this guy i know, his name is Fox Mulder...

Well, gee, I don't know. Maybe they get to promote some sort of political agenda? Maybe they have some kind of grudge against the system?
Maybe they're one of these social subversives who think they're fighitng for a cause so great that any act, regardless of the moral ramifications of the individual act -- including lying and the use of propaganda -- is not only morally acceptable, but required?
To me, a story like this stretches the margins of believability too thin to be believed without any kind of corroboration, which simply doesn't seem to exist in this case.Calgary123 Calgary123:

You see an unmarked black SUV pull up and nab someone off the street.
Gee, I don't know... CALL THE POLICE? There's a decent idea. Or maybe CALL THE MEDIA? An outlet with a shred of credibility (ie/not prisonplanet.com)? These are some good ideas.
You give the average person far too little credit.Calgary123 Calgary123:

As far as the the "no witnesses coming forward", that's one of the best reasons to dismiss it... for the current time.
Who knows? Maybe this story will circulate a bit, and someone will come forward. That would be enough to make me think twice about this. Until then, I'll have little choice but to regard this as nothing more than an amazing uncreative work of fiction.

Lie Pat said, where are the witnesses, since there had to be at least one person on the street in the middle of the Afternoon.
Also, I've seen individuals "report", as you called it, event's that have happened to them, had people believe them, then the who thing turned out to be false. However, I do believe that if this truly happened, we need to take up arms and destroy whoever is responsible.
But first, elaborate on the scumbag being detained by immigration, he probably had names of citizens to finger incase he got into trouble, and that's what caused it, if it happened. Also, it doesn't make sense to keep some of the events bottled up if he had already gone to media to report the incident.
In addition, can you please provide some evidence that this happened, like a link to a well known and trusted media outlet that reported this story? If not, this is just a story invented by some people discruntled that they weren't allowed to witness the Bildeburg conference.
But where are all the people in the bar, or at least where is the bar tender, who would've seen the entourauge of Police.
Lastly, I watch the news faithfully every night at eleven, I'm pretty sure that I would've heard about this allegation.

They were arrested and picked up outside of a restaurant/bar. They weren't even at the hotel where the conference was held... this was in the middle of the afternoon after they had left the public property where they were peacefully demonstrating. You should listen to the interviews and read more before making such an asinine statement.
Do you actually think that these people deserved to get arrested and detained for executing their right of free speech? Not to mention threated, etc. If you actually believe that, then you are an idiot.

Once again, we have a number of people here who refuse to even give these people credit, and listen to the interviews. Clearly, if any of you had listened to the 1 hour or so of interviews, then there would be less of this skeptiscm.
The last few posters react like these people are coming forward telling people that they were abducted by aliens
Witness's? What difference would that make? If I or anyone else was walking down the street and saw a guy getting arrested... would I get involved and start questioning the police??? This "witness" baloney doesn't make any sense.
The fact that these people aren't in the national news yet doesn't mean anything. How some of you can dismiss everything from prisonplanet.com is rediculous. Alex Jones is a high level activist that is very well connected. He is not one of your run-of-the-mill conspiracy nuts. The fact that this informations was reported though his site is based on the fact that they had hooked up in Ottawa before and after the conference, and these people... understandably so... have more trust in him than the local press or authorities at this time.
Both Don McCormick and Joe Burd are seeking legal council... of course, that's in the interviews.

The fact is that without third-party confirmation, this is all just too far-fetched to be true. I think someone's trying to feed you a line, and you're buying it.Calgary123 Calgary123:

It's like if I told you that, in broad daylight, in public, George W. Bush suddenly turned into a reptilian creature and leapt away. If no one else present saw this, can anyone be expected to believe me?Calgary123 Calgary123:

OOOOOO a Conspiracy site Brilliant. Absolutely Brilliant. Dayseed, Calgary should get a medal in the Corner.
Newbie here, just wanted to put my two cents in on this.
The prison population continues to rise in the United States. Why is that? Nonviolent drug crimes. Most people incarcerated on drug crimes are there for conspiracy. Most of them weren't caught in the act of the crime. Conspiracy is when two or more people come together to commit a crime; that crime doesn't have to be carried out. People can change their minds about the crime, yet if the others carry it out and get caught, the one who backed out still is guilty! Why are they guilty? Because they didn't notify a law enforcement agency that the crime was taking place?
The latest estimate by the International Centre for Prison Studies out of King's College in London is 9 million people held in penal institutions throughout the world.
Interesting to note: The US has the highest prison population per capita in the world; 714/100,000. Compared to India's 39/100,000.
Most of the nearly 3 million currently imprisoned in the US, are in there for charges of conspiracy.
So are you telling me all conspiracy is BS?

It is just a groundbreaking moment in history where for the first time, a building which had small fires in a couple of floors, melted steel beems...and its unrelated that Larry Silverstien purchased extra insurance only a week before...and the fact that billions in trades were all made within minutes just before the plane hit destroying any records....
The fact that the Gulf of Tonkin incident was staged and admitted as US naval officer mistook whales humping as being shot at, doesnt discredit the war and the good reason for it...
Bush sr. didnt really lie about those poor babies in incubators in Iraq back in the early 90's,
Bush quoted Nayirah at every opportunity. Six times in one month he referred to "312 premature babies at Kuwait City's maternity hospital who died after Iraqi soldiers stole their incubators and left the infants on the floor,"(1) and of "babies pulled from incubators and scattered like firewood across the floor."
Nayirah, though, was no impartial eyewitness, a fact carefully concealed by her handlers. She was the daughter of one Saud Nasir Al-Sabah, Kuwait's ambassador to the United States. A few key Congressional leaders and reporters knew who Nayirah was, but none of them thought of sharing that minor detail with Congress, let alone the American people.
Everything Nayirah said, as it turned out, was a lie. There were, in actuality, only a handful of incubators in all of Kuwait, certainly not the "hundreds" she claimed.
But there was no conspiracy here, no just a mistake right?

The Illuminati dont exist, in fact, they have been not existing for hundereds of years now, and are doing quite well at it. During their non-existance, they have founded dozens of societies and institutions based on their principles, and even been the subject of many hollywood productions and blockbuster books, video games etc etc. In fact, they have the largest empire when compared to all other imaginary groups or individuals.
When WW2 ended, the Nazi scientists who came over to work on CIA mind control programs such as MKULTRA for example, realized that in fact the next 20 years of research and the resulting manipulations of minds would never happen, nor did they exist, and promptly disappeared into a cloud of possibilities.
MI5 and 6 really just produce quality James Bond movies and have never been in involved in using al-queda, the IRA or any other terrorist cell for that matter. They had nothing to do with anything bad. That is their stance, and quite frankly, I believe them. No one who makes 22 films of such caliber could ever be guilty of conpiring to commit an overtly criminal act so subversively....
The October 28, 1993, edition of the New York Times ran an article headlined, "Tapes Depict Proposal to Thwart Bomb Used in Trade Center Blast" (see also October 31, 1993, New York Times; Chicago Tribune, December 15, 1993: "Informants’ Recordings Show FBI Had Prior Knowledge of the Bombing"). The federal government was caught on tape by their informants ordering them to let the bombing go forward, to cook the bomb, to give the terrorists the detonators, to create yet another crisis . . . this time to usher in a police state and a war upon the American people. - Misprint (both papers)

History is ripe with conspiracy, from Paul Revere Conspiring to free the Us from the English, to Brian Mulroney, Bush sr., Bin-laden and the Carlyle group. Yet the second some one questions an official story or account of events for OBVIOUS holes, the mass conditioned mind tries to convince itself these people are nuts. ASKING QUESTIONS is what made us free, its what keeps us free, and at our current level of freedom, its obvious, very few want to ask questions when they fear the answer. You should not be afraid of your government, they should fear you. That is what keeps them responsible and true to our desires. Can anyone really say that the direction from on high is truly what us average citizens are after?
If you dont believe in conspiracies, you either dont understand the word, you've never really read history, or you want to live in the land of denial.
you ask for proof and we give it to you and then you say, "I need to see multiple sources, I want mainstream reports, I want to hear my MP say its true, I want, I want, I want. Well, that is like saying, " I saw a commercial that said Cheerios are good for my heart, but to believe that, I want to hear it from 3 doctors, visit the factory and have every single ingrediant tested at 3 independant labs, and I want 30 years of trial test results to prove that there are no long term side effects. Then when all that is done and I'm 67 years old, then I'll start eating them. But you arent like that with your breakfast cerial, so why are you defensive of a government you openly distrust. I hear it all the time, " Gov. just out to get you", or, "they stole another billion from our tax payer money", or " Nearly all politicians are liars." Then someone questions what a politician said, and bam, the same ones who condemed now defend the same people they claim not to trust. Does that mean all conspiracies are true? No. It means, that it is YOUR job to investigate if you dont believe what someone says. That is how we keep our rights and freedoms. Putting your head in the sand or denying without research is a mutiny on the freedoms you and your country enjoy.
Right now it is popular to attack any theory that puts the government in bad light, but the tide is turning. More and more poeple are unable to deny any longer that something is seriously wrong.
