I wonder what type of mistakes the Liberals would have to do to lose the votes of Canadians? This just shows us how lame federal politics are, screw us, lie to us, take stupid decisions and we’ll still vote for you.

   

Today, it really doesn't matter what Party you cast your vote for, they'll screw you one way or another....but I will still vote Conservative when the time comes to vote!

A lot better than it felt when I was being ripped off back in the mid-80's to the early 90's.

Hence my support for the political party for whom I have been a member of for the past 14 years.

Thank God Mulroney was around for a decade or so to disabuse you Liberal types of the hold you thought you had on power.

And thank God for Harper today! He and the Conservatives will ensure you crooks NEVER get to have full power ever again.

   

Federal Minister of National Defense, Bill Graham was just on CKNW with Bill Good & the first thing he said was that the fall of the Liberal Government would be bad for the CDN Military because numerous purchases, raises, etc, would be put on hold.

I don't know if this guy is good for the military but he sure sounds like he has more political plans than any previous defense ministers.


Just some notes from the interview & callers:

bla bla bla, we can rent airlift aircraft, even though 30 of the C130's are older than most of the folks here. Typ. party line.

Military experience: Navy Officer Cadet while in University.
Probably more than most others in politics but still no where near what it should be.

Emphasis on Paul Martins vision on how the CDN Forces fit into his vision of the "country of the future". Talk about the 2 new ships they are buying from.. China?.. and how we don't need heavy airlift.

Subs and bureaucracy take heavy, suppressive fire. Minister manages to waffle out some platitudes but for the most part, is hiding at the bottom of the foxhole.

Lastly, I hate it when people pronounce military as "milli-tree"
