I must be honest I never saw one Canadian post about this topic. Do you just act like it does not exist? Dont you think you shold honor and stick up for your fellow citizens? Or pretending like this never happend and it will go away?

The woman was an Iranian citizen, travelling under an Iranian passport. Iran doesn't recognise dual citizenship. Iran doesn't tell us what to do with Karla.

Ummm, what about human rights? I don't remember reading anything about us beating and raping Karla and she helped commit rape and murder of children.

Anyways, Iran could care less about one dead woman. If you read the news they are into way worse stuff than the torture, rape and killing of one photojournalist. Canada is just wasting its breath. No one will be giving Canada much help here until the nuclear issue is dealt with, if ever. Iran needs a regime change before we get any type acknowledgement from them now.

All Canadians must simply trust the wisdom of the Federal Government in issues of foreign affairs and the utilization of the armed forces, as the government holds all of the facts, not nit-picked ones which the media has.

I find that hard to do when they constantly F up those issues with foreign affairs and the armed forces. There are SO MANY things that make me not believe the federal government.Do not ask for examples either because I don't have the time.Jebus H read a newspaper.

I was actually referring to the use of the armed forces overseas and how foreign affairs does its operations with other countries...yes the government sucks at making policies for both departments, but they still have the full picture of any situation which requires these departments compared to the population.

And I read about 10 news sources each day FYI.

I would want you as my brother in arms! (yeah sure) So I guess that makes it ok to gang rape her and beat her to death. Do you relize what happened to this poor woman who was your fellow citizen.

Their willingness to stick their noses into everyone else's crap is the reason they smell so bad. Nice confirmation NY. As to you Ripcat; why pick one isolaed case where the woman walked in with her eyes wide open and start screaming human rights when all that crap in Darfur might as well be your grannie swatting flies?

Nice way to deflect the topic. Maybe you should investigate your claims? Or maybe you could sidestep the issue? As normal.

I was saying that she went to Iran as a journalist, trying to provoke an international incident. She knew that as an Iranian citizen, travelling under an Iranian passport she was subject to whatever the Iranian government wanted to do with her. She expected to be tossed into an Iranian prison and roughed up a bit, get word to the Canadian government, have people all upset over here because they didn't understand that she was just a shit disturber trying to get people mad at the Iranain government. Things just went a little farther than she expected. Now, with this idiotic doctor showing up and making unsubstantiated claims it looks even more as if it is a plot to descredit the government of Iran. I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out that there was CIA involvement all the way down the line.

In Darfur(Sudan) there are hundreds of people dying every week due to human rights violations. Why aren't you yelling about that?

In Iraq the prisoners of the Americans and on the American base in Cuba the prisoners of the Americans are suffering and dying every day. Why aren't you yelling about that?

I'll tell you why. You're busy yelling about Kazami because somebody pushed your buttons by telling you she was a Canadian who was persecuted and killed. She wasn't. She was an Iranian who pushed the system a little too far.

In downtown Belleville Ontario last fall a guy named MacDonald was in a bar against his parole restrictions. A cop started chasing him and he ran to his car and pulled out a weapon. The cop shot and killed him. Nobody is yelling about that, yet it is just as much of a human rights violation; which it and the kazami case aren't. It was officials doing their jobs in both cases.

All we know, unless you were there and know different, is that she died in prison. The rest is speculation and probably lies. I work in law enforcement and we don't believe everything people tell us, even if they do claim to be doctors.
