in this way, there will be USA, CANADA and QUEBEC in North America.
i guess quite some people may feel sorry if Canada disappears, now that Canada is still there alive and healthy as an independent country, it'd be easier for them to accept the reality.

The only way any of the provinces join the US is if Alberta leaves Canada. Canada needs the transfer payments from Alberta to prop up the other provinces.
