Who do you think will qualify ?
I doubt very much England will 
The manger hasn't got a clue...The players dont give a fuck... theres no passion to win in the squad....

Let's start out with group E.. as that is the group on the table right now.

Croatia has allways been a thorn in the side for Sweden in the qualifications over the years.
A good team = Will make the EC.
Assuming Croatia will take 3 points against Russia, England will make the EC.

England will probably make it, barely. Though the manager will probably get axed nevertheless. Mclaren is as big an idiot as Eriksson was.
What's interesting is that both Spain and Italy are 4th in their groups and look less likely to qualify than England but Scotland and Northern Ireland are likely to make it.

Northern Ireland face Sweden tomorrow.
If we assume, as I do, that Sweden will snatch 3 points tomorrow, Sweden is through to the EC.
The runner up will eather be Denmark, if they manage to take 3 points from Sweden in the coming match, or Spain. That's how I see it.

Well for starters, there's everyone in England....
McLaren and Eriksson aren't (and weren't) good managers because they are risk-averse. They don't try anything different or new, they just play the same players with the same tactics all the time and hope that it works out.

What qualifies you to assume that Xerxes has no knowledge of Football? I know for a fact that he most certainly DOES have considerable knowledge of football.

Well like the thread starter said, the senior players have no passion, no drive (except for Rooney and Gerrard). A coach can deal with that by putting younger guys on the field who want a national team place.

What is lame though is stating someone is an idiot because you simply take a stab in the dark about their knowledge about football. Like it is in England, self proclaimed experts who want the managers blood as soon as things don't go their way, there won't be any daring ventures by the manager. The media there is mercyless and, in my opinion, destructive to both the team and it's managers.
I laughed my ass of when I first got the news that Luiz Felipe Scolari sayed no to managing england after he got his first taste of the english media.

I merely stated that I see why anyone would call him such after a post such as his. He proclaimed that Mclaren and Eriksson are idiots which I found idiotic.
