I've been looking around to see if anyone has heard of this website and I thought this message board would be the best place to start looking.

The site is www.youtext.com

They claim to send completely free text messages to cell phones only in Canada, without a catch.

Has anyone tried this out? It seems pretty cool if it's all that it's cracked up to be.

Hi! no i did not, i haven't checked it out. I do know however that this idea is far from being new. It's a nice resource sometimes.

You have been able to do that right from MSN messenger for some time. Or through msot cell phone websites, like Telus

   

Yeah I guess thats true, except most people don't add their cell number to MSN so you can't txt them and I think the sites like Telus only send to Telus phones don't they?

   

not sure about the telus site, never tried it. I almost never sue text messages. I only sometimes receive them from people on my MSN list.

The text message fees from the cell phone ccariers are still topo much. Even to receive a message from that site will cost me 10cents

This is kinda fun.

I have been sending a buddy text messages and as far as he can tell they came from god.
By now he must think his phone is possesed.

I can just see him now"honey look! another text message from god"

   

haha yeah I've been buggin a friend all weekend and he has no idea who is doing it.

   

So far I have been god,the devil,your celphone and even your cel battery.
My sister thinks her cel is texting her!
My buddy thinks god is talking to him through his cel.

So my buddy phones me and tells me he got 4 text messages from God,3 from Satan,1 from his rabbit,2 from Mick Jager,and now his phone is texting him.

He thinks it has a virus.
