In a 1987 CBC interview with Barbara Frum on the Meech Lake Accord, Pierre Trudeau argues that as long as Quebec or any other province thinks they can get more power, they will claim to be "left out" or "unreconciled" but this doesn't mean the Prime Minister of Canada should give in to their every whim.
The PM of Canada speaks for all of Canada?? I don't think so Trudeau, you said you saved Quebec, let someone else worry about the west--remember that Pierrie???
wow did we get a spam bomb or what
milkyx must have just woke from a coma... or just came off crack..
A wise man, he was. The Premiers are perpetual whiners - the federal government needs to put them in their place from time to time.
Trudeau was a great PM and a great Canadian.. he told it like it was and he put the separatists in their place.. all provinces were equal to him.. and ya he gave the whiners the finger... so fuddle duddle
