Wonder how they matchup compared to their 40 year old brethren?

   

I suspect these versions are superior in everything over the 1960's brethren...

I don't know which one of the three I'd pick...

But the Camaro is starting to grow on me...

   

I find it very difficult to take any of todays 'knock-offs' seriously !

1969 CHEVROLET CAMARO, Now here's a 69 CAMARO !!!!! DROP DEAD BEAUTIFUL metallic Blue paint with a NICE black bucket seat interior .... Does the ROLL CAGE give 'ya any indication as to just HOW FAST this one is ???? 468 cubic inches of NASTY chevrolet power ( runs on PUMP GAS !!)with a turbo 400 trans with a shift kit and a stall converter ... 12 bolt Positraction rear puts the POWER to the ground in fine fashion ... you can drive this one to the cruise night or BLAST OFF to the moon if you like !!! you simply MUST see,HEAR and touch this one ...!!! Look at the pics and see how close HEAVEN really is !!!

These newer versions of the classic pony cars are considerably heavier as well... A '68 Mustang GT500 weighs 3,286lbs. A 2008 Mustang Shelby GT500 weighs 3887 lbs. That's near the weight of my 2000 Impala..!!!

Too bad Mopar wouldn't resurrect the Prowler and offer it with a Hemi...

   

I wonder if they're offering a Z28 version of the Camaro.... Now my imagination runs wild with designs of a 2010 Yenko Camaro.... It would have the Corvette ZR1's 427!!!!!

Nice cars, just saw the new Camero on my home tonight myself I run a 03 SVT Cobra Stang..pushes a little in corners and the back end will snap around..but straight ahead it is still like jet launching

   

03 SVT Cobra Mustang is a nice car.... Please post some pics...!!!

I gotta see one of those new Camaros in person....
