CanadaKA member's wheels.
Blurry line. SAE bases it on interior volume. Marketing likes Coupe for anything 2 door.

I wondered about interior volume. If that's the case then they have some pretty low end volumes for sedans. Only those that you really dislike get invited to drive around in the back.
Just checked. 98.8 cu ft. Not exactly a motorhome!

Interesting thread.
The best vehicle I ever bought is a 98 Mazda B3000...and I still have it with 176K on the clock and in very good condition.

And the Trophy Wife of almost 30 years patiently waiting while I take pictures of ducks somewhere on the Ingraham Trail in the NWT.

The patience of wives...
Speaking of which, it's getting to be time for Powerama. The fight will be on to determine who has to go with dear old Dad. There'll be the usual "I did it last year so it's your turn!" and "Awww Mommm!" or "You married him so stand by your man" claims and counter claims.
Ahhh, spring is here.

My wheels during college, truly a slow racer. Took about a week to get up to freeway speed.
I actually had two, one with this goddawful electromagnetic automatic.
Quoting from my blog:
"Completely uncontrollable in snow, most ridiculous automatic ever invented. But it was comfy, quiet ran on fumes and stopped on a dime. Motors didn't last, but hidden storage under front bumper made for a smuggler's delight. Over thirty 25oz cans of Foster's snuck thru each border crossing during beer strikes. "

Don't worry.......someday they'll think you're smart again too.
I'm pretty sure I've ruined the possibility of that ever happening.

This little puppy works pretty well for me, just hope to get some good usage out of it this year.

Well I finally upgraded my set of wheels to this:

It's a '99 Audi A6 Quattro and I love it! It's not perfect mind you. It's got a few scratches in the paint (not mine) and it really needs a CD player, but it's a smooth, silky ride and it's worth the extra insurance I'll have to pay...

VERY nice!

So I picked up the Nord Grey Coupe a couple weeks ago now. Little bits of rubber grace the streets in and around Sackville now. Here she is at Peggy's Cove last Sunday. What a great road to bomb around on.
Now, as you can plainly see, it's a 2 door coupe. But according to the DMV in NS it is a "Sedan 2 door" on the title sheet. I always thought 4 doors when someone said sedan.
Any of the car guys/gals on here explain that one to me?
Which engine did you get in that one? PLease tell me it's the 3.8L V6.

Sorry! 2.0L Turbo w/Premium trim level.
The OTD cost was around 27 and tax. The best I could get on the 3.8 was around 31.5 and tax. Just could not justify 5 grand for two cylinders and 90 hp.
On the bright side, there is still plenty of stupid under the right foot of the 2.0. The lighter front end with the 2.0 also lends itself to better handling.
Now to find a set of wheels for it that are not 1000 bucks each!

Go to the US. Tires are way cheaper down there for some reason.
