I choose the 2008 Challenger SRT-8. That 6.1L HEMI kicks the shit out of the Bullitt's 4.6L mod motor.
Ahem did someone not register 6.1 to 4.6 the cubes are not even close and even at that if you took the 5400 bucks difference and put into engine after market your stang would kick the shit out of the challenger without the depreciation.
The comparo test is between the 2008 Bullit Mustang and the 2008 Challenger SRT-8 in factory stock form. These are the "new" muscle cars on the block for 2008. The Challenger no only beats the Bullit in pure engine power but also in mobility, ride comfort, and interior quality. The only thing the Bullit beats the Challenger is that its cheaper. Even with 600lbs less weight and a manual slushbox, the Challenger still beats the Bullit.
Hey, I'm a HUGE pony car fan and I own a Mustang (07 GT). But even I know which of the two is the better car. I paid 32 000 dollars for my 300hp, you think I'm gonna fork up an extra 8000 dollars for an extra 15hp? I don't think so.

SprCForr. I guess we'll have to wait until the Camaro comes out in sept. of next year. Now price will be a HUGE factor if it's gonna be a success or failure.
Hey, if you got time, take a look at dodge.ca and check out the 2009 Challenger. Wow, the price you pay for the shit you get and the performance numbers, very resonable. Just maybe, we found the Camaro killer.

Wow! 35k gets you into the base model V8. But only if you can find a dealer that hasn't marked up the price into the stratosphere.

That 35k base model V8 is better equipped than my fully loaded Mustang GT at 41k. Thats a very reasonable price for it, and it gets a few grand chaeper when the Chrysler Family Pricing comes in.

My buddy order a Black with slate grey leather interior 09 Challenger. 425hp with a 6 speed standard a few months ago. He chose everything except the sun roof. It may be here by Christmas but they are promising it by the spring. By the time all was said and done it was $60,000+.

You're buddy got the SRT-8 model. That's the one I'm gunning for when I pay off my 'stang. I can believe it wrang up to 60k for his SRT-8 Challenger, lots of people don't think about it, but piling up the options does add alot of extra coin to the final price.

Hey Shadow! The summer has been great but unfortunately all good things must come to an end.
Yeah my chum said it was the same one Jay Leno got and I believe it's the same colour as well. He has a few choice cars and this one will see little daylight. He pulls an enclosed trailer too so even if he's going long distance it will stay nice and clean.

That's good to know you're doing well. Yeah I'm getting upset that the summer is ending. Man, I didn't even get to see a single car show this summer. Oh well, no sense crying about it.
Reg, your buddy bought a 60k trailer queen? Is he ever gonna drive it? How bout kicking out the ass end and show the ricers what a real car does? In anycase, I'm still envious, and from what you're telling me, the car will be well taken care of.
