New Camaro soon
Wullu Wullu:
Love the Tiburon. Got the V6 model and any car that cost under 30k that does 220 kmh with ease is good in my books. The only corrective work they had to do was the sunroof motor. They under powered it from the factory. They realised it and the replacement was slightly higher amped to compensate. That is all the corrective maintenace from May 02 when I bought it. 17s all the way around with Michelin Pilot Sports for tires. I became VERY careful with the tires when I found out how much they cost, $380 a piece in 02 plus a very nice Clarion stereo system. Hyundai might have a rep for cheap prices but they don't scrimp on things.
About the only point I have with it is the clear coat and hell the car is 4 years old and been driven on the east coast, so a flake or two in the clear coat ain't a real show stopper.
First... I've never really been a huge fan of American Muscle cars... but if I had to pick one I would go with the Mustang!!!
Second... Wullu... I would like to make a recommendation on tire selection for your Tiburon. When I bought my 01 Boxster it came with Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires (which are Z rated) and they wore out FAST!!! When I went to replace them they were almost $750US for ONE rear and $600 something for ONE front!!! Needless to say I said FU and went in search for a cheaper tire that would get the job done! I ended up getting Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Position (which are Y rated) and they are AWESOME!!! I also only paid about $700US for BOTH rears and a little under $600 for BOTH fronts!!! I would think that a tire in your size should come in much, much less then mine did!? In my opinion it is freaking crazy to pay for an unnecessary Z rated tire... unless your pushing 400-500HP!?
Here's the
Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Position

Oh no worrys about me replacing the pilots with pilots
It was kind of cool to have a Z rated tire from the factory but no way do I need Z tires. My pilots are rated for 20k. Been lucky that I have been deployed for the last few summers so I have not used them much. My 16 inch steel rims and snow tires have more klicks than the pilots. This will probably be the last year for the pilots, so thanks for the recommendation for a replacement. I love the handling the pilots give me, but not to the point where I am going to spend a couple grand on 4 17 inch hunks of rubber.

Ripcat, the new camaro will be built in Oshawa and no streaker, I don't think that they are resurecting its brother the firebird in the first year or two.
Personally, I like the Camaro the best out of the three (Mustang and Challenger) and there is a good chance I will be driving one in a couple of years, depending on reviews and sticker price. If GM keeps their word, the camaro will do great. However, if the public gets let down like with the GTO, there won't be many people that forgive them.
