now I cant ignite my car, after I plugged my key into the slot, the small engine icon at the bottom of the tachometer was on...

what did that mean, and what am I supposed to do, I cant even get my car moving now...it is a mazda 626...

that's a check engine light i do believe...

   

Check the owners manual.

   

Check your oil.

   

That means the torpedos are armed... don't push the button with the red triangle on it, whatever you do.

   

If its a rotary engine then it means the block has to rotated,kinda like your tires do.
Keeps the engine wearing evenly.

i dont mean to judge but shouldn't a 21 year old guy know what a check engine light is?
