Remote Start Not Working

REPLY

I have a 2009 Chevrolet HHR. The remote start has worked all summer but now that it is getting cold will not start the car.

The fob will lock and unlock the doors but will not start the car.

Is there something simple I can do before I take it in

That's your problem right there, you bought a POS.

Unlock the door, get in the car, insert key and turn it... works for me. :D

Get the wife/girlfriend to go start the car. Problem solved.

Is there a safety on/off switch somewhere? Was the vehicle in for servicing recently and a mechanic shut it off?

I did check for this issue because there is the option to disable it

Thanks for all the constructive suggestions....some not so constructive ....The end result is I have it working ...It was something simple
