A rugged looking off-road vehicle is made by a Winnipeg company. It has a Russian and Ukranian design meant for Canada's remote northern back-country.

What's your thought about this?

   

Holy crap those are cool! This would be a no-brainer for the Canadian Forces! Just add a .50 caliber machine gun to the roof, and we're all set!

Doesn't matter how cool they are.

No government is ever going to kit out our armed forces unless there is a war.

   

Which means that when the war starts they expect the US to defend Canada.

   

Took years to get going with kit last 2 times, and the war was nowhere near us,
so we had no pressure on industry or resources and such.

Won't happen next time.
But hey, just think of the money we will save !
