The space research organization in Pan-Arcticana has requested more government funding for space-related research and development, and the possiblity of creating orbital weapons platforms has become a topic of intense debate.

General Zeke du Pont says, "We should spend more. But not just on exploration. We should start developing Orbital Weapons! Space Marines! Armed Spacecraft! We would rule the region, and look cool doing it! Just divert some funding from environmental protection, and BAM! Sci-fi goodies!"

Noted Scientist and pacifist writer Peggy Rifkin thinks otherwise, "No! Space is a place for peace! It's the only place left we've got that we haven't screwed up. Oh, the space program still needs funding, don't get me wrong, but none of this 'military in space' stuff will do! We ought to divert funding from the military to education and space research instead!"

ok guys, i have an idea....i am going to post this on the CKA forum page as well, and i'd like y'all to pay attention.....
i think we should seriously consider trying out the practise of "region crashing" here on nation states...but to do this we need full cooperation and strong leadership from our elected leader.
i think that all of us (nations who are UN members) should withdraw all our endorsements for each other and all of us should endorse the regional delegate unanimously. for the purpose of region crashing, i urge all CKA nations to become part of the UN just for that sake because we need as many UN member nations as possible to make this work if we want to try it.
anywho, i'm not perfectly understanding how it all works but i'm reading into it.... so i think that if one of us goes over to a small password protected region and requests the password then forwards it to all the rest of the CKA nations simultaneously, then we all go there at once, hopefully to take over the delegate-ship of that region, change the password to something like henderson1 and, if u can, change the region name to Canadaka colony number 1, and eject all the people that were formerly there.
if this is unsuccessful, then we can always come back to our home region canadaka.
if we succeed, then i think it would be good if all the members move back to canadaka and leave only one or two countries in the colony, to prevent canadaka from being invaded while we're out conquering. once the password is changed (after all the other nations are ejected) then that region is safe and can't be invaded. i also think that the password should only be sent by PM to known CKA members.
anyway, like i said, it's just an idea let me know what you think.

I agree it's a good idea.
We'll need someone to scout a territory to take over. I think we need something with less than 20 nations, or it will be too difficult. And we'll need someone to stay in Canadaka to keep the dust bunnies at bay. I also think that once we pick a target, we should move there from a region other than Canadaka, so as not to give away our own regional identity.
I agree also that the password should only be PM'ed to people, not posted on this website or in our regional webiste.

Only want what is rightfully mine! I say we make Newfoundland our first victim......only 4 other nations so it should be fairly easy for us no? Ill move there and get things rolling....they will take one look at my nations name and welcome me with open arms not realizing that I spell the begining of the end for them!

there's a region with 10 nations called "a better place", regional pwer is low, and there is no password
i tried to post this on the nationstates site but it stopped responding.
can the regional delegate change the name of a region?

i think we should try with a smaller nation just in case....it is after all an experiment.....we need to try it first on an easy prey and then refine our techniques

- Wullu, do something with Cabotland..... Your nation is otherwise gonna disappear.

- Stellar, fer godssakes do something about Reconoway's economy! Per capita GDP is $86.25!!! 
- I've moved Lower Sloboevia over to "Liberaux francophones", which up until now was just Geloso. Geloso is that guy Proc knows and Proc suggested that he should be allowed to join Canadaka. If Geloso has Proc as a reference it sounds okay to me, but I need clearance from Newvinland before I send a telegram with the password... hey wait a second.... Newvinland isn't in Canadaka anymore!.....

RIP Cabotland. 
Once the novelty has worn off it'll be interesting to see how many nations are left in canadaka.
Later tonight I'll move a couple of nations over to a free democracy.

because we can. we take over a region then boot the people who were there before then change the password. it's like war, but different.
