you may have noticed the new Dj, AutoDJ. Its actualy an automated radio server some of the guys over at the =CKA= clan setup. A dedicated server with 6000+ mp3's on it that will just polay programed lists, or random tracks.

For those DJ's with a reserved time slot, you have to kick the AutoDJ to connect. The AutoDJ will always try to connect, so there will be 24/7 music now. When your done Dj'in just disconnect and the AutoDJ will connect shortly after.

I will see if the other djs can help biuld programed playlists the AutoDJ can play, because right now its completely random, so neer know...

   

Yeah, I generally pick each song as I go (by request), instead of using a playlist like Ripcat and some other DJs (I don't think it affects Will because of his mic), but it's kind of frustrating, because sometimes I'll play for a while without realizing AutoDJ kicked me...

A 60 second delay or something during my timeslot would be great!

   

AutoDJ is offline for now, they are figuring out some bugs and sorting the music more. The auto-connect on the AutoDJ will be set to 30sec or more. hopefully that will fix your problem bootlegga

   

We wanna who the owner of the Ashlee Simpson music is.....

Anyways, its good they are sorting out the tunes....6000 tunes is great but I think most listeners would prefer quality over quantity...

The folks behind the autoDJ should take responsibility for it by starting a thread asking people to post if they are listening, when they are listening and what genre of music they would prefer to listen to.

   

AutoDJ Server

Sry for the delay people we are still sorting out the bugs. Bare with us as it might take some time to sort it all out. Currently we have started fresh on our server tonight and it seams to be running fine. I will be releasing server admin 2 all DJ's once I get everything straight.

We are taking our time 2 make shure that all dj's can use this with ease and that there are no problems.

I have personaly dedicated my server and bandwith so that we can make CKA radio bigger and better.

No you didnt break it. We are still working out the bugs and I guess we have not resolved the kicking a dj ishue. If anyone still has problems then you can see me for a Password to the server so you can stop and restart the AutoDJ.
