EDIT: Now I'm getting sound, but I have to crank my stereo to the max, and then I can just barely hear it

Nope.... sounds like I'm listening to someone's headphones sitting next to me.... really tinny sounding, and barely audible.

The volume's going up and down... but the eq is still bad...
